The Sorix is Weatherby's semi-automatic shotgun, and this HUSH configuration pairs a 28-inch barrel with a 3.5-inch chamber in a black finish. Chambering for 3.5-inch shells signals the intent: this is a waterfowl and turkey gun, built to digest the heavy magnum loads that late-season geese and long-range turkey work demand while still cycling lighter shells for practice and clays. The 28-inch barrel gives a smooth swing on passing birds without being unwieldy in a blind. Weatherby has spent seventy years building rifles that punch above expectations, and the shotgun line reflects the same approach.
