The Victra-20 mounting system relies on a jam nut to lock the mount solidly against the barrel once it has been indexed. Tightening the nut takes up any play, keeps the mount from backing out under the pounding of 20-gauge loads and ensures the suppressor bore stays concentric with the barrel shot after shot. This is Yankee Hill Machine's factory replacement nut for that system, worth having on hand if you set up several barrels for one suppressor or simply want a spare. Like the rest of the Victra line it is made in YHM's Massachusetts facility to the same tolerances as the original.
