The Auto-Ordnance TAO50 is a bolt-action .50 BMG with a 29-inch barrel, built for shooters who want the cartridge's extraordinary reach without the complexity of a semi-automatic. A bolt gun in this chambering is a fundamentally simpler machine, and the fixed breech tends to favor accuracy at the extreme distances that make .50 BMG worth shooting. The heavy build and muzzle brake do the work of making a cartridge this large manageable from a bipod. Long-range steel enthusiasts and collectors are the natural audience. Blued finish. Confirm that .50 BMG is legal where you live before ordering.
