This Charles Daly adapter lets an AK-9 pattern firearm feed from GLOCK-pattern 9mm magazines, and the practical value is obvious: GLOCK mags are the most common, most affordable and most widely available pistol magazine on earth. Swapping to them means spares are easy to find, drums and extended sticks are plentiful, and you can share magazines between a carbine and a sidearm. The adapter drops into the magazine well and locates the mag correctly for reliable feeding and a positive catch. A sensible upgrade for anyone building out a 9mm AK-pattern carbine as a shared-magazine system.
