The Charter Arms Pathfinder II is a compact .22 LR revolver with a 3.5-inch barrel and a black finish. Charter Arms has built American revolvers for decades, and the Pathfinder is popular as a lightweight trail gun and a low-recoil range revolver. Rimfire ammunition is inexpensive and easy to shoot, which makes it a good choice for plinking, small-game hunting where legal, and training newer shooters in revolver fundamentals. The shorter barrel keeps it easy to carry in a pack or on a belt while still offering enough sight radius for accurate shooting.
