The Colt Gold Cup has been the factory target 1911 since 1957, the pistol bullseye shooters bought when they wanted match accuracy with the Colt name on the slide. The modern Gold Cup Trophy keeps that mission with a 5-inch National Match barrel, an adjustable rear sight, a wide match trigger and a stainless steel frame and slide that polish up beautifully. This version is chambered in 9mm Luger, which turns the classic target gun into something you can shoot all afternoon with light recoil and a 9+1 capacity. It is a natural for bullseye, steel and action-pistol matches and a very pleasant range companion for anyone who appreciates a tuned single-action trigger.
