The Colt Python is a double-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum with a 2.5 inch barrel and a blued finish. The Python earned legendary status among revolver enthusiasts for its smooth trigger and fine fit and finish, and Colt revived the line in recent years. The short barrel makes this version compact and easy to carry, while the .357 Magnum chambering also accepts milder .38 Special loads for practice and plinking.
