The Franklin Armory Reformation RS11 is one of the more legally interesting firearms on the market. Chambered in .300 Blackout with an 11.5-inch barrel and a black finish, it uses straight, non-helical lands rather than conventional rifling — which is why it is classified as a firearm rather than a short-barreled rifle, despite its dimensions and stock.

The RS11 designation indicates Franklin Armory's binary trigger system, which fires on both pull and release. The result is a compact, stocked .300 Blackout that requires no tax stamp. Buyers should verify their own state and local rules before ordering.
