Franklin Armory made its name with the BFSIII binary trigger, which fires one round on the pull and a second on the release, and this PDW-C7 is built around it from the start rather than as an aftermarket add-on. The rest is a compact AR pistol: a 7.5 in. barrel in 5.56 NATO, a free-float handguard and an SBA3 adjustable brace.

Short-barreled AR pistols like this are popular for truck guns, home defense and range use, where maneuverability matters more than long-range ballistics. Check your state and local law regarding binary triggers.
