Franklin Armory is best known for its innovative trigger and receiver engineering, and the Prevail extends that engineering-first approach into a bolt-action hunting and long-range rifle. The build emphasizes weight reduction and rigidity, using a carbon fiber-wrapped barrel to keep the gun manageable in the field while keeping the barrel stiff and heat-tolerant.

Chambered in .300 WSM with a 24 in. barrel and a black finish, it delivers near-.300 Win Mag performance from a short action, a combination that has long appealed to elk and mule deer hunters covering open country.
