FN built the 510 as a full-size, duty-grade striker-fired pistol chambered in 10mm Auto, a cartridge that has seen a real resurgence among hunters, woods carriers, and shooters who want more terminal energy than a 9mm can deliver.

The MRD Comp configuration pairs a 4.43-inch barrel with an integrated compensator that redirects gas to hold the muzzle down, taming the sharpest edge of 10mm recoil and speeding up follow-up shots. FDE finish, an optics-ready slide that accepts a wide range of red dots, fully ambidextrous controls, and FN's reputation for building guns to military standards round it out.
