Kel-Tec has always built guns that nobody else would, and the CMR-30 is a perfect example: a featherweight .22 WMR carbine that weighs less than most loaded handguns. The .22 Magnum is a legitimately effective small game and pest round, and the 16.1-inch barrel wrings out the velocity that makes the cartridge shine, while the threaded muzzle makes it an excellent suppressor host. The CMR-30 shares magazines with Kel-Tec's PMR-30 pistol, and the folding-stock design with top and bottom rails makes it easy to pack. A genuinely fun truck gun, varmint rifle and trail companion.
