The Kel-Tec PLR-22 is a semi-automatic .22 LR pistol built on the same lightweight design philosophy as the company's PLR-16. It has a roughly 10-inch barrel, a blued finish with green furniture, and a Picatinny rail for mounting optics. The long barrel pulls more velocity from rimfire ammunition than a typical short-barreled pistol, and the light weight and low recoil make it very enjoyable for plinking, small-game and teaching new shooters. Kel-Tec's design is easy to carry and handy to take along on camping and range trips.
