The Citadel Coach gun is a side-by-side 12 gauge with 18.5-inch barrels, a nickel receiver, and a walnut-finished stock. The pattern goes back to the stagecoach guns of the American West, and it has stayed in production because it does several jobs well: cowboy action competition, close-quarters home defense, and general around-the-property work.

Two barrels means two immediately available rounds with nothing to cycle and nothing to jam, and the exposed side-by-side layout is about as simple and reliable as a firearm gets. The short barrels make it fast to swing in tight spaces.
