The Howa 1500 action has a long reputation as one of the smoothest and strongest push-feed bolt actions available, and it is the foundation of countless custom builds. The Fence Line series pairs it with a lightweight stock and a threaded barrel, aimed at varmint and predator hunters who spend their days walking pasture edges. Chambered in .223 Remington with a 22-inch barrel in a bronze finish, this rifle is a natural for coyotes, prairie dogs and ground squirrels: flat-shooting, easy on the shoulder, and pleasant enough to shoot all afternoon.
