AK-pattern rifles were designed around iron sights, and the stock comb height reflects that. Mount an optic on a rail or a side mount and your cheek loses contact with the stock, which costs you consistency in exactly the way that shows up on paper. This Magpul riser adds three quarters of an inch of comb height to restore a solid, repeatable cheek weld.

It is built for Magpul AK stocks, installs quickly, and adds almost no weight. The Plum finish is a nod to the classic Russian polymer color and looks right on a traditionally furnished AK.
