The Rock Island Armory M1911-A2 GI is a faithful take on the classic 1911 chambered in .45 ACP with a 5 inch barrel and a black finish. Built in the traditional military style, the 1911 is single-action with a thumb safety and grip safety, and its crisp trigger and natural pointing made it a favorite for over a century. Rock Island Armory is respected for delivering a lot of 1911 for a modest budget.

It is a great entry point to the platform and a solid base for upgrades, whether for range use, collecting or home defense.
