The Rock Island Armory M1911-A1 Tactical II is a full-size, single-action 1911 chambered in 10mm Auto, the powerful cartridge favored for woods carry and hunting. Rock Island has built a following by offering John Browning's classic design at a budget-friendly level, and this Tactical version adds G10 grips and fiber-optic adjustable sights to the traditional 5-inch barrel, black finish layout. The steel frame helps soak up the 10mm's recoil, making it a fun range pistol and a capable backup for outdoorsmen who appreciate a crisp 1911 trigger.
