Rock Island Armory built its following on hammer-forged, single-action pistols that run hard and cost less than their reputation suggests, and this compact .380 ACP follows that same formula. The 3.75-inch barrel and slim single-stack frame make it easy to conceal, while the low-recoiling .380 cartridge and the weight of a steel-framed pistol combine into something notably pleasant to shoot for a gun this size.

The FDE and brown two-tone treatment gives it a warmer look than the usual all-black carry gun. Familiar controls and a crisp single-action trigger make it an easy transition for anyone already comfortable behind a 1911-pattern pistol.
