Rock Island Armory's All Generation pump is built on a simple idea: one shotgun that fits a whole family. In 20 gauge with a synthetic stock, it is light enough for a younger or smaller-framed shooter to handle comfortably while still being a legitimate upland and small game gun for anyone.

The 26-inch barrel is a sensible all-around length, long enough to swing smoothly on birds but short enough to move in cover, and it wears a black finish over the receiver and barrel. Pump actions remain the easiest shotgun to keep running on a budget, and 20 gauge is a genuinely underrated field gauge.
