Chambering a bolt action in .300 Blackout is a deliberately practical move: the round was engineered to make its full performance inside short barrels, so this 110's 16.5" tube gives up almost nothing while keeping the rifle short enough to swing in thick cover or from a stand. Paired with a suppressor and subsonic loads, a bolt gun in .300 BLK is about as quiet as centerfire hunting gets, since there's no action noise from cycling. The Savage 110 platform underneath brings the AccuTrigger and barrel-nut headspacing that make these rifles consistent shooters. A purpose-built hog and predator rig.
