The 110 KLYM is Savage's answer to the premium lightweight mountain rifle, and the V2 continues that. This one is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 22-inch carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel and a carbon stock, a combination that sheds serious weight from the muzzle end without giving up the stiffness that keeps groups tight as the barrel warms. For a hunter who is going to carry a rifle up a mountain and then be asked to shoot well at the top of it, that trade matters enormously. The AccuTrigger adjusts to a crisp pull and the muzzle is threaded for a brake or suppressor.
