The scout rifle concept calls for a short, light, quick-handling bolt gun that a hunter can carry all day and get on target fast, and Savage's 110 Magpul Scout hits those marks with a 16.5-inch barrel and Magpul's Hunter stock. Chambered in .350 Legend, it is aimed squarely at hunters in straight-wall cartridge states, where the round has become a favorite for whitetail because of its mild recoil, effective terminal performance inside typical woods distances and low report. Savage's AccuTrigger, a threaded muzzle and the adjustable Magpul stock give you a lot of configurability in a compact package.
