The Savage Axis XP Compact in 6.5 Creedmoor with a left-hand action covers a niche almost nobody else serves: smaller-framed southpaw shooters who want a modern, flat-shooting hunting cartridge in a properly fitted rifle. The 6.5 Creedmoor's gentle recoil and forgiving trajectory make it a superb teaching cartridge that never needs replacing — it remains deadly on deer and capable at distance as skills grow. The factory-mounted scope, weatherproof synthetic stock, threaded barrel, and adjustable AccuTrigger complete a thoughtfully specced package at an entry-level price.
