The Savage Axis 2 XP in 6.5 Creedmoor ships as a complete package — rifle and mounted scope — with a 20-inch threaded barrel, blued finish and gray synthetic stock. The XP configuration means you can zero and hunt without sourcing rings, bases and an optic separately, which removes a real barrier for a first-time rifle buyer.

6.5 Creedmoor's light recoil and outstanding factory ammunition selection make it easy to shoot well, and the user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets you tune the break. The threaded 20-inch barrel keeps things compact and suppressor-ready.
