This Axis 2 Pro Western from Savage is a left-handed rifle chambered in .350 Legend, a combination that will make deer hunters in straight-wall states very happy. The .350 Legend performs comparably to a .30-30 inside 200 yards with noticeably less recoil, and its straight case satisfies the regulations in Ohio, Iowa, Michigan and other former shotgun-only zones that have opened up to straight-wall rifles. The threaded muzzle makes it easy to add a suppressor for hunting from a blind, and Savage's AccuTrigger lets you set a light, clean pull that makes the most of the rifle's accuracy. A left-hand bolt with a detachable magazine rounds out a purpose-built whitetail rifle.
