The Savage Axis 2 Pro Forest SP in 6mm Creedmoor pairs a 20-inch threaded barrel with the Pro line's upgraded stock and forest-themed finish. 6mm Creedmoor pushes light, very high-BC bullets fast, giving flat trajectory and excellent wind performance with noticeably less recoil than a 6.5 — a favorite among shooters who hunt and compete with the same rifle.

Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger provides the clean break that lets the rifle show what the cartridge can do, and the threaded 20-inch barrel keeps things compact and ready for a suppressor.
