Savage's 93 series is the .22 WMR bolt gun that quietly outshoots rifles costing considerably more. This G configuration pairs a 21-inch blued barrel with a classic hardwood stock, feeding from a detachable rotary magazine. Like the rest of the modern Savage rimfire line it uses a button-rifled barrel and a receiver designed around accuracy rather than cost-cutting.

The .22 WMR is the right answer for a lot of pest and small-game work: noticeably more reach and energy than .22 LR, still cheap enough to shoot regularly, and effective on coyotes, jackrabbits, and barn rats out to sensible distances. Comes drilled and tapped for a scope.
