The Savage Axis II XP is a bolt-action hunting rifle package built around Savage's well-regarded AccuTrigger and a free-floated barrel design that routinely delivers strong accuracy for its class. This left-handed model is chambered in .243 Winchester with a 22-inch barrel and a green synthetic stock, and it ships as a package with a mounted and bore-sighted scope, so it is ready to take to the field after a quick zero. The .243 is a flexible, soft-shooting round for whitetail, antelope and predators, making this a natural first big-game rifle for southpaw hunters.
