The Savage Axis XP in .243 Winchester is a left-hand package rifle with a 20-inch barrel, black synthetic stock and a mounted scope. The .243 Winchester is famous as a deer and varmint cartridge with mild recoil and excellent accuracy, which makes it a favorite for youth hunters and smaller-framed shooters. The AccuTrigger lets you adjust the pull weight, and the package approach means you can head to the range right away.

For left-handed shooters looking for an affordable, easy-shooting rifle, it is a great place to start.
