The Taurus 942 is a small-frame double-action revolver chambered for rimfire, and that combination makes it one of the most useful practice and kit guns available. This Ultra-Lite version uses an aluminum alloy frame to cut carry weight substantially, with a 2-inch barrel and a black finish, chambered in .22 WMR.

A rimfire revolver of this size is invaluable for teaching double-action trigger control without recoil or expense, and it works as a genuine trail and kit gun for snakes and small game. The exposed hammer allows single-action shooting for precision, and the swing-out cylinder makes loading and unloading simple.
