This Thompson/Center Encore shotgun barrel is a 12 gauge stainless steel barrel with rifling, designed for use with the Encore break-action platform with a 3-inch chamber. Thompson/Center's interchangeable-barrel design lets a single frame serve as a rifle, shotgun, or muzzleloader by swapping barrels, and a rifled shotgun barrel is a popular choice for hunting deer in shotgun-only zones with sabot slugs. Stainless steel resists weather and corrosion, which suits real hunting conditions. If you own a compatible Encore frame, this barrel offers a straightforward way to expand its capabilities.
