The Thompson/Center Encore Prohunter XT is a single-shot, break-action muzzleloader in .50 caliber with a 28-inch barrel. The Encore platform is a long-time favorite of in-line muzzleloading hunters thanks to its strong action, modular design and reputation for accuracy. This model uses 209 primer ignition and a black finish with a weather-resistant stock, built for deer-season use where muzzleloader-only periods offer extra opportunity. Easy to load, simple to clean and dependable afield, it is a go-to choice for hunters who want a capable, traditional-style hunt without sacrificing modern reliability.
