The Thompson/Center Contender is the original interchangeable-barrel single-shot pistol, and a .22 LR match barrel is one of the most-used options in the system. Ten inches of blued match-grade barrel turns the G2 frame into a remarkably accurate rimfire handgun, accurate enough for silhouette competition and precise small-game work at distances that surprise shooters used to autoloaders. Swapping barrels takes minutes, so the same frame can go from this .22 to a big-bore hunting chambering and back. Fits G2 Contender frames.
