The Thompson/Center Prohunter barrel is an interchangeable rifle barrel chambered in .243 Winchester, with a 26-inch length. It features stainless steel with a fluted profile and a threaded muzzle (5/8x24) to accept a muzzle brake or suppressor. Thompson/Center rifles are known for their interchangeable barrel designs, which allow owners to switch calibers by changing barrels. The .243 Winchester is a favorite for deer and varmint hunting thanks to its flat trajectory and mild recoil. Verify compatibility with your particular Prohunter frame before ordering.
