An interchangeable ProHunter rifle barrel in .270 Winchester, 26 inches, fluted and threaded, with a blued finish. Thompson/Center's break-action system lets a single frame become several rifles, and the .270 is a natural addition to any collection of barrels: flat-shooting, hard-hitting on deer, elk and open-country game, and backed by nearly a century of load development.

The long barrel takes full advantage of the cartridge's velocity potential, the fluting offsets some of that added length in weight, and the threaded muzzle accepts a brake or suppressor.
