The beauty of the Thompson/Center Pro Hunter is that one frame can become a dozen rifles: swap the barrel and you have changed chamberings entirely, with no gunsmith and no second serial number to track. This interchangeable barrel is chambered in .400 Legend, a straight-walled cartridge developed specifically for the Midwestern states that restrict deer hunters to straight-wall rounds.

It comes as a 26-inch fluted barrel with a blued finish and threaded muzzle, so you can run a brake or a suppressor. Fluting sheds weight and helps the barrel cool between shots. Fits Pro Hunter and compatible T/C break-action frames.
