A factory Thompson/Center Pro Hunter muzzleloading barrel in .45 caliber with 209 primer ignition and a 28-inch tube. The 209 shotshell primer is the hot, weather-resistant standard for modern inline muzzleloaders, and it is what makes a break-action rifle like the Pro Hunter dependable in the wet, cold conditions late muzzleloader seasons tend to serve up. The .45 bore is a favorite of shooters chasing flatter trajectories with saboted bullets.

Because the Pro Hunter receiver accepts interchangeable barrels, adding this one turns an existing rifle into a muzzleloader without buying a second gun.
