Traditions' 1873 Single Action Frontier Series is a faithful rendition of the Colt Single Action Army pattern, the revolver that defined the American West, made in Italy and imported by Traditions. This one is chambered in .45 Colt with a 4.75-inch barrel, the classic civilian length that balances well in the hand and clears leather quickly. The frame is color case-hardened in the traditional style with a blued barrel and cylinder, and the grips are walnut. Rounds load through a side gate, and the single-action hammer must be cocked for each shot, which is exactly what cowboy action shooters and traditionalists want. It is a working revolver for SASS matches, ranch use and anyone who loves the old guns.
