The Traditions 1873 Single Action Sheriff is a single-action revolver in .357 Magnum, with a 3.5-inch barrel and a case-colored frame from the Frontier Series. The Sheriff style is a short-barreled take on the classic Single Action Army, with a more compact look suited to carrying and handling. The .357 Magnum can also fire .38 Special, giving shooters a choice of loads. It is a popular choice for Cowboy Action shooting, historical reenactment and plinking, and it appeals to those who enjoy the Old West style.
