The Charter Arms Undercover Lite is a five-shot .38 Special revolver with a 2-inch barrel and a double-action-only trigger, with rubber grips. Charter Arms has been building compact revolvers for decades, and the Undercover has long been a concealed carry favorite. The simplicity of a double-action-only revolver means no safety to manage, just point and press the trigger. Light weight makes it comfortable for all-day carry, though lightweight revolvers have notable recoil with .38 Special, so practice is advised. It is a straightforward, proven backup or primary carry gun.
