Henry builds every rifle in America and backs them with a no-nonsense guarantee, and the H1 Sporter brings that same approach to a .22 WMR lever gun with an 18.5-inch barrel and walnut furniture. The .22 Magnum is the sweet spot for rimfire hunters: meaningfully more reach and energy than .22 LR on squirrels, rabbits and close-range coyotes, without the cost or blast of a centerfire. A lever action in this chambering handles fast, carries easily in the truck or on horseback, and is about as pleasant a walking gun as you will find.
