Henry has built its reputation on American manufacturing, brass and walnut, and a customer service policy that gun shop customers bring up unprompted. This rifle is chambered in .360 Buckhammer, a straight-wall cartridge developed specifically for hunters in states that restrict bottleneck rifle cartridges for deer season. It delivers meaningful downrange energy inside typical woods ranges while staying legal where .30-30 class rounds are not allowed.

The 20-inch blued barrel and American walnut stock keep the profile short and quick-handling in thick cover, which is where most straight-wall deer hunting happens.
