The Howa M1500 action has a reputation among knowledgeable shooters that far outstrips its price, with a forged receiver, a fully enclosed bolt face, and a two-stage HACT trigger. The Superlite Gen2 takes that action and pairs it with a slimmed-down barrel contour and a lightweight stock to build a carry rifle.

This one is chambered in 7mm-08 Remington with a 20-inch threaded barrel and an OD Green stock. The 7mm-08 is one of the best-balanced deer cartridges going, mild in recoil and deadly on game, and the threaded muzzle is ready for a brake or suppressor.
