Howa's Mini Action is a genuinely short receiver, sized for small cartridges rather than a standard action with a filler block, and the result is a rifle that is lighter and stiffer than a short-action built around the same round. This Fence Line configuration is chambered in 7.62x39 with a 22-inch barrel, a bronze Cerakote finish and Prairie Reaper camo, aimed squarely at predator and varmint hunting where a low-recoil, moderate-range cartridge does the job.

The Howa 1500 barreled action is known for accuracy and comes with a two-stage HACT trigger.
