A Proof Research carbon fiber pre-fit barrel cut for the Q Fix, chambered in .308 Winchester at 18 inches. The Q Fix was designed around quick barrel changes, so a pre-fit like this is exactly the kind of upgrade the platform was built to accept.

The carbon fiber wrap sheds real weight off the front end while managing heat better than a steel profile of comparable mass, which keeps groups consistent deeper into a string. An 18-inch .308 is a versatile length, short enough to stay handy and well suited to running a suppressor for hunting or tactical work.
