This Proof Research carbon fiber PXT barrel blank has a .264 (6.5mm) bore and a 22-inch length with a Sendero contour. It is well suited for builds in popular 6.5mm cartridges such as 6.5 Creedmoor, and Proof's carbon fiber wrapped design offers a lightweight, accurate barrel.

Because it is a blank, a gunsmith will need to chamber, thread, and fit it, but it gives custom builders a premium starting point for a lightweight rifle.
