The Proof Research Carbon Fiber Barrel Blank in .284 caliber, 20 inches in a Sendero profile, is meant for custom rifle builders and gunsmiths. Proof Research carbon barrels combine a stainless steel liner with a carbon fiber wrap to reduce weight, dissipate heat and offer excellent accuracy. The Sendero contour is a heavy, stable profile for long-range shooting. A professional-grade component for builders putting together a precision hunting or target rifle, and it requires proper chambering and installation by a qualified gunsmith.
