Proof Research pre-fit barrels are the shortcut to a serious accuracy upgrade on a Tikka T3x, and they're one of the reasons the T3x has such a strong aftermarket. This PXT pre-fit is chambered in 6mm Creedmoor at 22 inches, with Proof's carbon-fiber wrap over a match-grade stainless core — which drops meaningful weight off the muzzle and sheds heat faster than an equivalent steel contour. Because it's cut to Tikka's shouldered pre-fit specification, headspace is set by the shoulder and the barrel installs without a lathe. The 6mm Creedmoor is a superb match and predator round with mild recoil and excellent long-range manners.
