The Savage Axis II XP is a ready-to-hunt bolt-action rifle package in .243 Winchester, with a 22-inch barrel and a scope pre-mounted and bore-sighted at the factory. Savage's Axis line is famed for giving shooters excellent accuracy for the money, aided by the user-adjustable AccuTrigger. The .243 Winchester is a classic light-recoil deer and varmint round, so this black and gray rifle works well for new hunters, youth shooters and anyone who wants a fuss-free package.
